Neuroendovascular intervention is a subspecialty that uses minimally invasive catheter-based technology, radiologic imaging, and clinical expertise to diagnose and treat diseases of the central nervous system, head, neck, and spine.
The unique clinical and invasive nature of this subspecialty requires special training and skills. In this subspecialty, the objective of training is to give fellows an organized, comprehensive, supervised, and full time educational experience in neuroendovascular intervention.
