Special Features

We provides services to a diverse patient population distributed across the Galveston Bay Area. Residents will work in both pure academic as well as hybrid academic/private settings distributed across 3 hospitals. A smaller program with 10 total residents allows for increased familiarity will fellow trainees as well as faculty. We offer unique experience via our relationship with the Texas Department of Corrections, allowing residents to participate in care of Texas's large inmate population.
