Stony Brook Urology provides comprehensive training across all urologic subspecialties, led by fellowship-trained faculty in each domain. Uniquely, our department oversees a kidney transplant program, one of few in the nation housed within the urology department. As the sole tertiary care center for a county of over 1.5 million, we serve a demographically and socioeconomically diverse population. Extensive training in open and robotic surgery equips graduates for all facets of urologic practice.
