Residency program is strong, close-knit independent academic medical ctr. trg. program with excellent clinical experience at Swedish and external rotations (Harborview Trauma/Burn, R4 University of Chicago Trauma Ctr.) Hallmarks of program are superior board performance and clinical exposure/volume, faculty mentoring. Opportunity to take research year if desired. Two R4 electives (1 internal, 1 external.) Half of graduates go into practice, half fellowship. Many join faculty after fellowship.
