WRH offers a 5 year residency program in General Surgery as outlined by the ACGME. The WRH administration, GME Department, and surgical faculty are committed to providing training and resources in the development of competent specialists in GS. Past graduates have obtained fellowship opportunities or joined the workforce and have excellent board passage rates and felt well prepared for their boards and career as independent surgeons in the community.
