Special Features
The General surgery residency at CMU offers a broad clinical experience in a semi-urban/rural setting. We serve patients from two level 2 trauma centers and receive transfers from the surrounding rural communities. Our residents are exposed to a broad breadth of clinical pathologies. The program is supported by state of the art health care systems with a strong sub-specialist surgery base including robotic surgery exposure and training early in the program.
