Our Psychiatry Residency Program is based in Joplin, MO, just a 2.5-hour drive to Kansas City and 4 hours to St. Louis. We serve a rural, underserved patient population through comprehensive behavioral health services, including inpatient, outpatient, and crisis care. Residents gain extensive experience across diverse psychiatric conditions in both community and inpatient settings. The program emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care, preparing residents for practice in underserved areas.
