Special Features
Many residency training programs do not have enough time to develop essential skills and expertise in population health and preventive medicine. For the physician workforce, especially in the primary care disciplines, the preventive medicine training program at Cook County Health in collaboration with the Institute for Public Health and Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is designed to fill this gap.
