          Special Features
Combined training sites at an academic, university-based children's hospital and a community hospital ensure residents are competent in the gamut of pediatric care, serving a culturally and economically diverse population. Our well-established track system allows residents to customize their training. Core principles developed in Rochester (ie. the Biopsychosocial Model, Self-Determination Theory, and Community Pediatrics) continue to influence our holistic approach.
