Special Features

We are a medium sized, family friendly program with good anatomic and clinical path exposure, innovative educational curriculum (based on adult learning theory), and a variety of research opportunities nested within a large academic center. We serve much of the state of KY, as well as the surrounding states, to provide medical care to rural and underserved populations. We are centered in Lexington, a small city in central Kentucky with excellent public schools and a reasonable cost of living.
