The University of Minnesota program includes training at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and three affiliated sites- The Minneapolis VA Medical Center, Regions Hospital, and Hennepin County Medical Center. This allows for hematology and oncology experience with a broad variety of practice styles and patient populations. There is also a separate classical hematology training option sponsored by a grant from the American Society of Hematology.
