Special Features
Swedish Hospital is situated in a diverse community on the north side of Chicago. The patient population provides a wide range of clinical pathology from which to learn. As a Safety Net Hospital, we provide care for patients who have chronic diseases that go untreated for long periods of time, as well as rare diseases seldom seen in other locations. Finally, our program is able to utilize its location in an urban center to provide out-rotations at tertiary care centers around the city.
