Special Features

The Internal Medicine residency program at UNC is a mission driven program. We are smaller than many academic, university based programs and able to provide more direct, individualized mentorship and guidance. Our residents are well trained in procedures, general medicine, clinic and intensive care and are well suited for their future careers-- as a primary care doctor or intensivist! We believe in providing autonomy within a supportive culture in order for residents to thrive!
