The UCSF Department of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Program aims to recruit, support, and develop diverse, socially responsible physician leaders who advance equitable care through clinical practice, education, advocacy, policy, or research. Residents experience a broad range of patients, faculty, and academic interests via four residency tracks and a three-hospital system, ensuring rich clinical and mentorship experiences and ample research and academic opportunities.
