Special Features
As the only EM residency in a five-state region, UWEM offers unparalleled exposure to complex clinical pathology and diverse patient populations. A curriculum hallmark is the Career Development Time, allowing exploration and personalized training in areas of interest. Trainees receive an allowance in the sum of $8500, intended to offset the cost of living in Seattle; this allowance is included in the total compensation schedule which is paid out in each paycheck throughout the academic year.
