Special Features
Southeastern EM enjoys residents who are engaged and happy, and faculty who have a passion for teaching emergency medicine. We care for interesting patients and pathology with tons of procedures. As a rural, racially diverse community, Lumberton is in one of the unhealthiest counties in NC. Our patient population comes with diverse medical and social pathology. We see an extremely high trauma volume, both blunt and penetrating, without a trauma team. A true diamond in the rough for EM training!
