              Our residents train at several LCMC Health hospitals in New Orleans, including New Orleans VA Medical Center, Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, and Lafayette General. They care for patients from diverse backgrounds and ages and are involved in complex cases. As the region's only Level 1 trauma center, they care for patients with penetrating, blunt, and deceleration injuries, including victims of the January 1st Bourbon Street Attack at University Medical Center New Orleans.
